Destination Forever uses a holistic approach to education by cultivating and integrating creative strategies that support social emotional wellness, knowledge of self, authenticity and transformative practices rooted in the arts such as percussive dance, music, and theater.

We also integrate African centered principles such as Sankofa and themes of Afrofuturism as a tool for learning and navigation towards liberation and empowerment. Which means "go back and get it". So much history and pedagogy as it pertains to Black American culture, has been left out of education, that it has often set back the spiritual and economic growth of generations of people who could benefit from knowing who they are , where they come from, and where they are going.
